Douds Stone, LLC is a southeast Iowa business. We have been in business for 90 years providing quality rock, sand, gravel and limestone to our customers. Currently Douds Stone, LLC has 12 open pit quarries and 3 sand operations. Our locations stretch from Eddyville, IA to Wever, IA and as far north as Keswick, IA.
Job Description
The foreman position will be responsible for maintenance on pumps, crushing equipment, as well as some basic fabricating. The foreman will also be expected to direct haul truck drivers and loader operators and assist in plant and crushing operations. Will occasionally be required to operate equipment as needed. Ability to give direction, lead, communicate, and make decisions quickly is a must. Will work 5-10 hour days.
Quarry experience would be a plus.
