Job Summary
Major Duties and Responsibilities :
Teaches content and skills in science for 7 / 8 grade students.
Competency in preparing lesson plans and classroom management skills.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
Appropriate California Teaching Credential.
Bachelor's Degree including coursework required for credential.
Must be authorized by the State of California to teach English Learners. This requirement must be met by October 1 of a teacher's second year with the district.
Successful student teaching experience.

Recent experience in science instruction at the middle school level.
Ability and interest in working with middle school students.
