Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to coordinate various aspects of project management effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with contracts and specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate implementation.
- Manage quality control processes to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Prolog for accurate budgeting and scheduling.
- Maintain effective communication with project teams to address any issues or changes that arise during construction.
- Prepare reports on project status, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or a similar role within the industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and software (HeavyBid, Prolog).
- Familiarity with quality control processes and OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contract documents effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Experience in pipeline construction is a plus but not required.
