PA Special Education CertificationBachelor's degree in EducationSpanish PreferredExperience working with Special Education students preferredFBI, PA Criminal Background, and Child Abuse clearancesDuties & Job Responsibilities :
Maintain IEP compliance.Completes Re-evaluation Reports within the necessary timelines.Develop and implement IEPs.Develop and implement FBAs and PBSPs.Maintain accurate data on students' daily progress.Maintains poise and composure.Maintains professional attitudes.Communicates with parents about students' progress.Demonstrates appropriate language.Demonstrates a willingness to cooperate toward District Goals.Evidences planning which reflects objectives and activities.Keeps abreast of subject and special practices.Provides appropriate instructional material to meet the student's needs.Demonstrates the ability to organize for instruction.Encourages students with appropriate reinforcement.Provides an educational atmosphere consistent with instructional goals.Provides for individual student differences.Utilizes research and evidence-based strategies.Understands student behavior and utilizes effective behavior modification strategiesSchedule : Monday- Friday
