Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing design concepts, creating detailed drawings, and collaborating with clients and project managers to bring ideas to life. The ideal candidate is passionate about architecture, interior design, and construction, with a strong ability to balance aesthetics with practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present creative design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, renderings, and material selections.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of designs.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and provide design adjustments as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and building codes to incorporate best practices into designs.
- Utilize design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) to create technical and visual presentations.
- Ensure all designs align with Norsk Design Build’s brand standards and client expectations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2 years of experience in architectural or interior design.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Strong understanding of space planning, materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for innovative design solutions.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus.
