Job Summary
Position: Grinding Truck Beds
Basic Function:
The primary responsibility of a grinder is to perform precision smoothing, polishing, or grinding truck beds.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Set up and operate standard manufacturing equipment.
· Deburr, buff, or polish materials to specifications.
· Examine truck beds for defects.
· Push and/or pull truck beds down the ASSY line.
· Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 40 pounds.
· Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
· Attend all safety and production meetings and/or trainings.
· Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment by cleaning the grinding area, as needed.
· Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Competencies:
· Physical strength to push and pull trailers down the ASSY line.
· Ability to operate machinery such as a grinder.
· Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 40 pounds.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
· Must be reliable and dependable.
· Must have good attendance.
· Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions given in written or verbal form
Required Experience:
· At least 6 months of experience is recommended.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
Salary : $17 - $18
