As Delivery Director at Nortal Canada, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our Canadian operations. You’ll be responsible for leading project delivery, growing high-performing teams, and contributing to our business development efforts. Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Organizational Growth
- Build and scale Nortal Canada into a strong, independent organization with long-term delivery capabilities.
- Foster an inclusive and values-driven culture where employees feel engaged, empowered, and connected to Nortal’s mission.
- Lead, mentor, and coach teams of 20 professionals, including direct reports, cultivating leadership and delivery excellence.
- Act as a key decision-maker at the regional, account, and individual levels, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
- Collaborate effectively with other Nortal regions and global teams to drive synergies and maintain alignment.
2. Delivery Excellence & Operational Oversight
- Own end-to-end responsibility for project execution—ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
- Establish and optimize delivery processes and methodologies, fostering agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and manage delivery governance, including financial tracking, risk management, and KPI reporting.
- Align delivery execution with Nortal Canada’s strategic goals, co-developing plans and targets with the Country Manager.
- Oversee financials across key accounts and projects, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, providing sound, proactive guidance.
3. Sales Support & Business Development
- Actively participate in the sales process to support growth across new and existing accounts.
- Validate all proposals and opportunities from a delivery standpoint, ensuring feasibility and alignment with capabilities.
- Join customer meetings, support bid strategy development, and review proposals to ensure successful outcomes.
- Contribute to account development by identifying opportunities to expand Nortal’s value within client organizations.
Qualifications
- 10 years' experience in IT project delivery; including consulting engagements, scaled software programs and fixed-price projects.
- 3–5 years of people management experience.
- Deep understanding of the Canadian market across both public and private sectors.
- Proven success leading delivery teams and managing complex, multi-stream programs.
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills with a structured work style.
- Strong strategic and tactical planning capabilities.
- Proficient in interpreting KPIs, OKRs, and financial metrics.
- Skilled negotiator with a practical, results-driven mindset.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Jira, and other delivery/project management tools.
- Experience managing P&L and driving operational efficiency.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Passion for people development and fostering a collaborative, inclusive workplace culture.

The base salary range for this role is between $183k to $235k CAD. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer
