Summary
Our growing business is searching for an operations expert to lead strategic initiatives across our operations. The Rapid Industrialization Team is a key enabler to our tremendous growth, and this leader will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our business. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator & hands-on servant leader who can build sustainable processes that support our growth. To excel in this role, this leader will require in-depth knowledge of manufacturing, continuous improvement, project management, and cross-functional problem solving. Ultimately, you are responsible for executing key initiatives to facilitate our rapid growth.
- Lead a dedicated team of operations experts to rapidly execute key initiatives.
- Partner with Ops VP & plant managers to set clear priorities & define requirements.
- Stand up & changeover new production lines & improve flow through the factories.
- Coordinate across functions to keep projects on track.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to the executive team.
- Leverage lean manufacturing fundamentals to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Ensure robust process documentation & facilitate effective training for line leaders & operators.
- Work closely with other department leaders (Finance, Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering) to communicate and coordinate cross-functional efforts and improvement activities.
- Develop & maintain project calendar, team budget, and Key Performance Indicators.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or relevant field.
- A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven track record leading teams in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience with industrializing new product lines & executing line changeovers.
- Competency with lean fundamentals & continuous improvement methodologies.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
- Analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time (less if based in OKC).
