- Maintain, clean, and sharpen knives used in production.
- Monitor and manage knife inventory to ensure availability and proper condition.
- Keep the workstation clean and organized.
- Ensure accurate and legible production logs.
- Identify and report food safety, health & safety, and quality issues, taking appropriate action.
- Assist in onboarding and training new employees when needed.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and company safety rules.
- Support production goals by producing the highest-quality finished products.
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Skills:
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical Requirements:
- Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities, including close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
- Work Environment:
- Exposure to noisy, dusty, hot, humid, wet, and cold environments.
- Working near moving mechanical parts and handling chemicals or solvents.
- Work near moving mechanical parts and chemicals.
- Ability to work seasonally ( July to October * 72-84 hours/Week with *OT over 40 hours)
