What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Curator position at North Adams SteepleCats?
The SteepleCats' Social Media Content Curator is responsible for capturing pictures, videos, and creating
content for all of our social media platforms. Responsibilities include:
Capturing unique, behind-the-scenes photos and videos of players and game action
Capturing photos and videos of fans, sponsors, volunteers, and themed events
Creating engaging short videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels
Taking photos at community events and mascot appearances
Editing pictures and videos
Working closely with the Social Media Specialist to prepare and send content for posting
Implementing the latest social media trends in posted content
Create a season-long summary video (2-3 min) to present at the end of the season
Skills/Qualifications:
Capacity to think creatively and contribute new ideas
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with programs like Photoshop or Canva
Detail-oriented and strong organization and project management skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work nontraditional hours - late nights, weekends
Understanding of social media platforms
Additional Info: This job is full time 40 hours/week and runs from late May - early
August. This is an unpaid internship but we provide housing and a game-night meal. Your own transportation is encouraged but not necessary.
