What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Quality position at North Alabama Community Care?
Salary is commensurate with experience and a $10,000 signing bonus is available for incremental payments over a 12-month period. If the candidate must relocate from outside NACC's Region, they can choose a $5,000 signing bonus and up to $5,000 in relocation costs.
Education/Experience
The candidate must live in or be willing to relocate to Cullman, Jackson, Limestone, Madison, Marshall or Morgan Counties in Alabama.
Certified professional in Healthcare Quality or equivalent experience related to healthcare quality. / Bachelor's degree in public health, public administration or healthcare quality and safety, master's degree preferred. Relevant work experience can be substituted for master's degree. / Clinical background preferred / At least one year working with the Medicaid population / Familiarity with Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), CAHPS, and other standardized quality measures/assessments / Proficiency in quality data analysis / At least 3 years' experience related to population health management, including interpretation and presentation and presentation of data; identifying opportunities for improvement; and developing strategic plans to address quality deficits
Population Health Management Strategies - Oversees the Quality Improvement Plan by:
- Systematic data analysis to target Medicaid recipients and providers for outreach, education and intervention to improve health outcomes.
- Monitoring system access to care, services, and treatment including linkage to a Medical Home.
- Monitoring quality and effectiveness of interventions to the population.
- Facilitating quality improvement activities that educate, support, and monitor Providers regarding evidence-based care for best practice.
- Implementing clinical management initiatives identified as priorities by the Alabama Medicaid Agency and North Alabama Community Care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range from $95,000.00 to 100,000.00 per year.

Schedule:
- This is a salaried position that may require above forty-hours at times but routinely an 8-hour shift is normal.
- Occasional Evening Meetings Mostly Remote.
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to Commute throughout multiple counties to meet with Providers when indicated
Ability to Relocate:
- Huntsville, AL 35805 is preferable but must reside in Cullman, Jackson, Limestone, Madison, Marshall or Morgan Counties. Must relocate before starting work (Required)
