Department / Unit Summary
At North Alabama Medical Center our emergency room (ER) team is staffed 24 / 7 with emergency physicians, nurses and staff who are trained in providing emergency care. Our team combines advanced training with compassionate service to be ready for you or your family when you need it the most. We are a Level III trauma center that is an accredited chest pain center with Primary PCI.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include :
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
- Requires one to three years of work experience. Greater than 2 years preferred.
