Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Care Manager to join our team. As a key member of our patient care unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading nursing staff, and driving quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for 24 hour, day to day operations of the patient care unit(s) to include accountability for quality patient care, nursing staff performance and evaluation, budget development and management, and staff development.
- Required to demonstrate the ability to assess patient's age, specific needs and provide appropriate care according to the units policies and procedures.
- Promotes collaborative practice with other departments, physicians, and schools of nursing, and exhibits the ability to work with others, to find solutions to difficult technical or administrative problems.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A current state RN license.
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
- A BSN degree.
