Department / Unit Summary
The Labor and Delivery Unit offers obstetrics and gynecology care, as well as pediatrics, breast health and educational classes for new and expecting mothers. The L&D unit features two HOPE Suite rooms geared toward natural births and include a laboring tub, Bluetooth monitoring system, birthing balls, and birthing swing.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include :
- Must have Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification.
- Must have BLS, ACLS and NRP.
- Four years of nursing experience required in L&D.

Oversees the day-to-day operations of the patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, to include accountability for quality patient care, nursing staff performance and evaluation, and staff development. families.
