Department/Unit Summary
At North Alabama Medical Center our emergency room (ER) team is staffed 24/7 with emergency physicians, nurses and staff who are trained in providing emergency care. Our team combines advanced training with compassionate service to be ready for you or your family when you need it the most. We are a Level III trauma center that is an accredited chest pain center with Primary PCI.

Qualifications and requirements
- Requires high school diploma. Will consider applicants without HS diploma/GED with current Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Requires completion of a health care provider CPR course within the first two weeks of employment.
- One to three years of work experience in a hospital setting preferred.

What you will do
Performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the assigned patients as directed by the Registered Nurse. In addition, may perform other duties specific to the unit assigned.
