Essential Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during surgery by performing tasks such as tissue retraction, IV line management, and documentation.
- Verify patient identity and operative sites, discuss surgical procedures with the surgeon, and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures.
- Ensure the availability of necessary equipment, inspect sterilization devices, and operate sterilization equipment.
