North Allegheny School District seeks candidates to fill an English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher position at McKnight Elementary School, effective August 18, 2025.
The ESL Teacher is responsible for providing comprehensive language instructions to English Language Learners (ELLs) in grades K-12. This position requires a strong understanding of language acquisition theories, effective instructional strategies, and the ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The ESL Teacher will collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure that ELLs receive appropriate support and accomodations to access the general education curriculum.
Bachelor's Degree and Applicable Pennsylvania Teaching Certification (ESL Program Specialist PK-12) are required.
