Substitute Paraprofessionals for ESY Program 2025

Summer work opportunity for Substitute Paraprofessionals! Opportunities include working in Autistic Support and Emotional Support.

NASD anticipates openings for the 2024-2025 Extended School Year (ESY).

Schedule is as follows with a reporting time of 8:30am:

• Autistic/Life Skills support (Elementary and Middle School) June 24th-27th M-Th 9am-12pm; The remaining weeks are T-W, TH- July 16-18th; July 23rd-July 25th; July 30-August 1
• Emotional Support (Elementary only): June 24th-27th M-Th 9am-12pm; The remaining weeks are T-W, TH- July 16-18th; July 23rd-July 25th; July 30-August 1
• Academic Elementary and Middle School- T-W, TH- July 16-18th; July 23rd-July 25th; July 30-August 1
• In home Tutors for high school academics -flexible based on teacher and student schedules
• Career Readiness Skills tutoring (self-awareness, self regulation, social skills): flexible based on teacher and student schedules
• Speech Teachers-June 24th-27th M-Th 9am-12pm; The remaining weeks are T-W, TH- July 16-18th; July 23rd-July 25th; July 30-August 1 Also some individual tutoring options.

To work within a Pennsylvania Public School, the following clearances are required:
Act 34 – PA Criminal History
Act 114 – FBI Fingerprinting
Act 126 – Mandated Reporter Training
Act 151 – Child Abuse History
Act 168 – Sexual Misconduct and Disclosure Form

• If you have already obtained these clearances, they must be within one (1) year of hire date.
