About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Freight Coordinator to join our team. As a Freight Coordinator, you will oversee and manage international and domestic freight transportation services. The ideal freight coordinator will have a deep understanding of international freight and logistics management, including international trade, import and export processes, management, and practical experience in freight forwarding.
Qualifications:
Experience in freight forwarding;-
Familiar with international transportation and related
processes;
Experience in logistics;
Proficient in English, Chinese is preferred;
Proficient in office software(MicroSoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word), experience in Monday.com is preferred.
Familiar with supply chain management and Oracle, NetSuite enterprise management software experience is preferred.
University degree, logistics-related major, international trade work experience;
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills;
Good written and oral communication skills;
Responsibilities:
- Track and update the real-time information on the company's cargo in international/domestic transportation on the company's cargo tracking platform and ensure the accuracy of information;
- Familiar with freight (international freight forwarding) and logistics operation processes and related industries;
- Understand the relevant processes of international and domestic freight transportation and coordinate the various stakeholders of freight transportation (freight forwarders/trucking companies/warehouses) and make good delivery of cargo;
- Make a truck reservation and track the company's cargo transfer platform;
- Coordinate with supervisor to analyze logistic costs and propose improvement plans.
