What are the responsibilities and job description for the Soybean Inspector position at North America Processor Inspection?
NAPI is hiring for a year round, part-time truck probe operator in our Norfolk office. Our inspection office is on the 2nd floor of our small building, looking down on the grain semi trucks as they arrive. Our job includes collecting a small sample of soybeans from each incoming truck via a mechanical probe, operated by remote joystick, and then inspecting the beans for quality. It’s that simple. The job hours typically run 7:00 to 5:00 pm on Monday thru Friday. We're looking for someone to supplement our 2 person office by working 2 days per week. That means up to a minimum of 20 hours per week roughly. Hours may be negotiable if need be. There will be opportunities for more hours on occasion, especially during the first month of training. This job is completely trainable, no experience necessary. Job seekers need to be reliable and have a willingness to learn the applicable duties. Work in a blue jeans and tennis shoes, stress-free, informal environment.
