Job Summary:
The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and customers. This position will be full-time and will work on weekends. The Security Officer will be stationed at the gate and will be responsible for checking IDs, monitoring the entrance and exit of vehicles, and providing excellent customer service. The Officer will also spend part of shift making patrols through the community. There are two officers on post together.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the entrance and exit of vehicles
- Check IDs and ensure that only authorized personnel are allowed on the premises
- Provide excellent customer service to all employees, visitors, and customers
- Report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid if necessary
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
- Perform patrols through the community
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid security officer license
- Valid Driver's License
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work weekends
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Basic computer skills
Schedule :
10pm to 6am with 2 consecutive days off. Will include weekends.
Pay :
$16.00 per hour
