What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Shop Team Lead position at North American Bulk Transport?
Great opportunity for a Seasoned Maintenance Professional to join a family-owned, financially stable trucking company.
Candidate is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the shop reporting to the Terminal Manager. Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost Control and Environmental Stewardship are key elements in the position.
Duties include but not limited to:
· Supervise Maintenance Technicians
· Prioritize and assign work load on multiple shifts while meeting dispatch needs
· Maintain current PM maintenance
· Scanning Maintenance Documentation
· Preparing parts Purchase Orders, Receiving Parts into Inventory System and processing Invoices. Review repair orders and Billable Invoices for accuracy and close daily
· Work with the Corporate Maintenance Department on Projects, Recall & Upgrade Campaigns,
· Identify potential Warranty Claims and Sequester Warrantable Parts
Requirements:
· An experienced, high-energy, self-starting manager that works as a team member
· Verifiable mechanical & mechanical supervisory experience in a Fleet or Dealership environment
· Qualified applicants must have a solid maintenance and repair background with Diesel Tractors.
· Knowledge & diagnostic experience with Volvo, PACCAR, Detroit & Cummins Engine are a plus
· General maintenance and repair experience on Dry Bulk and Liquid Trailers is a plus
· Experience with product off-loading equipment, like blowers & product pumps a plus
· Experience with TMW-AMS (Transman) Maintenance Computer System is a plus
· CDL a plus
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Diesel Tech School or OEM Dealership Training a plus
· HM testing, Registered Inspector Qualification a plus

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
