North American Bulk Transport, in business for over 80 years, is looking for a Dispatcher for our Dry Bulk Tanker Fleet in Oklahoma City, OK.
Candidates must have recent experience dispatching Class A tractor-trailers.
Knowledge of Dry Bulk Tanker Operations is a plus!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for receiving and transmitting reliable messages.
- Tracking vehicles and equipment, and recording other important information.
- Ensure truck drivers stick to their appointed arrival times and destinations.
- Help drivers on routes and roadways.
- Must have strong communications skills.
- Organizational abilities are required and able to multi task.
- Computer skills required.
- Good time-management skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations and fast-paced environments.
Work Schedule:
The dispatcher position will rotate between days and evenings with some weekend work required.
