North American Lighting Inc., a leading manufacturer of automotive exterior lighting, is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to lead our team.
Our Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Production Engineer to plan, design, and implement production processes, ensuring new product designs can be manufactured efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day technical support for plant processes.
- Investigate internal and external customer complaints, develop root cause analysis, and determine countermeasures.
- Lead mold trials prior to molds arriving at NAL, collaborating with Tooling Engineering, the NAL Tool Shop, and outside tool shops.
- Support Program Management generated project macro-schedules with detailed engineering micro-schedules.
- Identify Value Engineering/Value Analysis (VE/VA) ideas and standard parts to be implemented into new product designs.
- Provide guidance, technical expertise, coaching, and training regarding injection molding to less experienced engineers.
Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline, plus 4 to 6 years of manufacturing experience in injection molding. A DC Wilson, Paulson, or similar injection molding certification is preferred, along with experience in multi-color molding and robotics for an automotive manufacturer.
