Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a 3rd shift Shipping / Receiving Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities and personnel of the shipping, receiving, and warehouse departments within the plant.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Your Priorities
- Leads and oversees the shipping, receiving, storage, and movement of all finished product and purchased materials in accordance to company policies and procedures.
- Supervises the departmental personnel in their daily activities, schedules their workload, and ensures their compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Oversees and ensures the timely shipment of all finished product or other materials, and the accurate completion of all required documentation.
- Requisitions any tools, equipment or supplies as needed for the function of this department.
- Monitors departmental safety on a continual basis, and holds monthly employee safety meetings.
- Assists in the training and development of departmental personnel.
Requirements
Your Background
Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience :
Associates degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
Salary Range : $60,000 - $75,000
