What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Coordinator / Inside Sales Assistant position at North American Machine Works, Inc.?
We are looking for a service coordinator / inside sales assistant for our company. Position is for an office computer job with some shop duties. Position will include:
- Interfacing with customers via email and phone to handle their service requests - both routine and emergencies.
- Process manufacturing and repair information into our software systems.
- Produce Quotes and Purchase Orders.
- Help our sales team coordinate repairs and field work while assisting our shop with job scheduling and following up with customers on questions and concerns.
- Working with the shop mechanics to maintain day to day and week to week valve production/assembly.
- Ensure that all required documentation for all service activities are completed including time reports, inspection documents, and all other information necessary.
- Some inside sales type work will be required such as: quoting new parts, interfacing with current customers, problem solving rush expedite valve build order requests.
- Standard Schedule is M-F in the office 8am-5pm with overtime pay as needed.
