KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Development Content:
- Develop content strategies that connect the offering to GenSend, which is funded by the Annie Armstrong Easier Offering.
- Develop resources and messaging tailored to church planters, who receive funding from the Annie Armstrong Easter offering but may not be using traditional fundraising campaigns.
- Develop messaging that encourages ongoing engagement beyond the traditional Easter season.
- Propose ways to reach and connect with younger donors through digital and marketing and social media.
- Research potential gaps in outreach and propose new strategies for engaging these pastors and congregations.
- Research campaign ideas that promote sustained giving throughout the year.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in Public Relations, Marketing Communications, Advertising, or related field.
- No prior professional experience required, but previous volunteer or project experience in a related field is beneficial.
- Interest in nonprofit marketing, fundraising, or audience engagement.
- Strong writing, research, and strategic thinking skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of a project.
- Evidence of a mature and growing Christian Walk characterized, by Paul, in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
- Personal wisdom and sufficiency grounded in Christ and the word of God, with a life submitted to God’s authority in all things.
- Models a daily soul-winning lifestyle.
- Can effectively lead others in prayer.
- Gives regularly and generously to the work of the church.
- Readily applies scripture to personal and professional situations
- Can articulate Baptist theological understandings on a range of issues.
- Conducts ministry in keeping with the principles and spirit of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
