Responsibilities will include:
- Hire, develop (train), and manage a best-in-class warehouse team
- Coach, mentor and provide feedback to improve the skills and productivity of our team
- Communicate expectation to team members regarding attendance, quality, pace of work, etc.
- Manage overall workload of team and implement ways to increase efficiencies
- Ensure orders are picked, packed and shipped in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
- Monitor customer and vendor requirements to ensure that we are good business partners with external stakeholders
- Ensure incoming shipments are properly received into inventory in a timely fashion
- Work with company leadership to develop and execute inventory management
- Manage prep of items for Amazon shipments including repacking, shrinking and labeling of products
- Plan daily priorities and assign team to tasks to ensure production and shipments are completed on time
- Work with company leadership to identify, implement, and optimize technology to improve warehouse operations
- Develop and maintain a facility layout that is efficient, clean and organized
- Order facility supplies and materials
- Manage shipping carriers to ensure shipments are routed and delivered on time
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve the business
- Foster a positive culture in the warehouse and throughout the company
- Perform other duties as instructed by Director of Operations and other company leadership
- Minimum 5 years warehouse experience with warehouse management experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years management experience
- Ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications
- Experience with warehouse management systems preferred
- Must be process oriented and able to plan, organize and monitor work with minimal supervision with a high attention to detail
