We are currently looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join our North Oak Branch team.
Job Summary
Perform a variety of complex duties to serve customers/prospects by providing excellent customer service with the highest degree of accuracy and professionalism, while fully exploring customer needs and providing appropriate products and services. Trains, directs, and assists in supervising branch staff. Monitors service and sales quality levels and mentors’ staff to achieve goals.
What you can expect to work on
  • Build relationships with customers that go beyond a single interaction, focusing on building long-term relationships.
  • Promote, cross sell and provision all bank products and services to prospects and current customers.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform and oversee all aspects of daily branch operations.
  • Execute behavioral coaching with Universal Bankers to meet branch and individual sales goals.
  • Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff along with maintaining effective employee relations.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, including those related to the bank’s Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) compliance program, and enforce these with the rest of the branch staff.
  • Ensure adequate staffing for efficient branch operation.
  • Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude at all times.
  • Resolve customer problems that require a management-level decision.
What you offer us
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years experience in handling currency transactions or experience in a sales environment preferred
  • Computer literate; experience using all Microsoft Office applications

  • Flexibility – Adaptable and nimble. Can simultaneously work within the boundaries of rules and regulations, while finding unique ways to get things done.
  • Leadership - Ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team of dynamic individuals.
  • Oral and written Communication – Speaks clearly and can be easily understood; organizes and expresses ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Organized – Uses time, energy, resources, information, etc. in an efficient way in order to accomplish work; ensuring files, tools, resources, etc. are in their proper places.
  • Productive (Time Management) – Produces the expected quantity of work; does not get bogged down in unnecessary detail; organizes work in a meaningful, practical and efficient way; can work on multiple activities at the same time.
Work Environment
  • This position will be based out of our North Oak Location at 8501 North Oak Trafficway KC, MO 64155.
