What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Systems Technician position at North American Stainless?
Key Responsibilities:
Line Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify current and potential problems, addressing them promptly whenever possible, especially for jobs requiring immediate attention.
Line Improvement: Work with the Line Engineer to develop, procure, and execute changes to equipment and processes that improve quality, productivity, and reliability.
Maintenance Program Improvements: Collaborate with the Line Engineer to enhance the preventive/predictive maintenance program by generating new work orders, editing existing ones, and maintaining those generated by AS400.
Scheduled Outage Planning and Execution: Assist the Line Engineer in developing and executing scheduled line outages, including gathering information, writing work orders, supervising execution, and executing key work orders when required.
