Electrical Maintenance Technician Come grow with us…North American Stamping is expanding and looking to hire. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team!  This position will be responsible for the programming and maintenance of robotic manufacturing and weld equipment. This position is for 2nd shift at our facility in Paulding, OH. 2nd shift hours are:  3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, and  have a 7.5% shift premium Your success is our success… The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Team Leader or designate. This position is to ensure that production equipment is kept in a safe and operable condition to assure efficient production of quality parts and to implement predictive and proactive maintenance systems to avoid costly and unscheduled downtime.   What you get in return …Up to $33.90 per hour and an additional bonus opportunity to earn up to an additional $3.00 per hour for a total wage of $36.90 per hour, along with a full benefits package. Experience Requirements: 3 years previous experience Automotive background required   Skill Requirements: Strong electrical background Strong mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair Technical skills necessary in the areas of industrial electricity, PLC controls, hydraulics and pneumatics Good communication skills Technical skills necessary to follow OSHA requirements PC knowledge and experience   Essential Job Functions: Ensures that production and related equipment is ready to meet customer requirements. Troubleshoot problems on production and related equipment.  This includes PLC, press controls and weld controls. Work with all employees to continuously improve quality and production. Maintain preventative maintenance schedule for production related equipment. Complete work from project list as assigned by Maintenance Manager Requisition supplies and spare parts for maintenance areas and keep these areas organized. Maintain a clean work area. Work with outside tradesmen as required. Available for overtime as required. Available for training as required. Suggest methods for improvements, i.e continuous improvement plans Ensure maintenance repair requests are being addressed, resolved, and returned for proper record keeping in a timely manner. Assist in TS 16949 implementation and maintenance as required.   Education Requirements: Preferred associate degree related to Industrial Maintenance High School Diploma Work Environment/Conditions: Plant:  Various types of manufacturing environments.   ·   Standard automotive plant environment with moderate noise level.  ·   PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, steel toe shoes, Kevlar sleeves, hearing protection, etc. may be required in designated engineering, manufacturing, or industrial areas.  ·   Involves moderate or occasional presence of some slightly disagreeable conditions, i.e., cold, dust, heat, odor, working at heights etc.   Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
