Custodial Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness for a large trade school. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Hours are from 10am-6pm Monday through Thursday. MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF PRIOR RELEVANT CLEANING EXPERIENCE.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.
• Conduct industrial cleaning of facilities, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained.
• Carry out floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain the appearance of flooring surfaces.
• Assist with custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or needs for replenishment.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Respond promptly to requests for cleaning services or special projects as directed by management.

Skills

• Proven experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and practices.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks related to custodial duties.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.65 per hour
