Position Overview

Our sales representatives work directly with amazing customers to build relationships and grow the business.

Responsibilities :

  • Create sales volume that includes a commitment to make sales calls within the territory daily to prospective customers, cold calls, as well as current customer base.
  • Providing service to accounts, which may require some evenings and occasional weekends.
  • Responsible for the following activities and reporting requirements :

oDemonstration and use of Company Selling program.

oSupport, attend and on-time completion of all training initiatives.

oDaily use of CRM system.

oSubmission of weekly pre-planners and daily written follow-up.

oMonthly completion of Sales Scorecards and Pipeline Updates.

  • Provide training for customers : end users, management, etc. as needed and whenever needed.
  • Working closely with the Account Coordinator assigned to you to assist with coordination of quotations, order entry, etc.
  • Assist as needed with installations and equipment deliveries.
  • Attending sales meetings and training seminars when available / as scheduled.
  • Non-selling activities such as writing orders, figuring bids, keeping files and e-mails current, and writing proposals.
  • Requirements :

    EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Understanding “add-on” percent and “margin” percent.

    REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is required to sit, stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 75-100 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move more than 100 pounds with assistance. Push and pull from 10-400 pounds, and operate auto scrubbers, vacuums, wet / dry vacs, extractors, sweepers, floor machines, and other janitorial cleaning equipment, and bar beverage equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Possible use of power tools such as drills and screwdrivers, and other hand tools; handling of batteries, chargers, motors, etc. Operating floor equipment such as buffers, auto scrubbers, vacuums, carpet extractors, dispensing systems, kitchen equipment, etc.
