Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical support, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch patient care. This position involves assisting physicians with patient exams, conducting procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring smooth operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with patient exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Prepare patients for exams by taking medical histories, performing vital signs, and documenting information in patient charts.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
• Prepare and sterilize medical equipment and instruments for procedures.
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient care instructions.
• Collect and process lab specimens, ensuring proper documentation and handling.
• Manage and update patient records in compliance with medical regulations and confidentiality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Ensure inventory management of medical supplies and equipment.
• Provide support for various office administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited organization (AAMA, AMT, or equivalent).
• Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a dermatology, cosmetic, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient care practices, and office procedures.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move medical supplies and equipment.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move around for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a clinical environment and assisting with medical procedures.
