Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical support, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch patient care. This position involves assisting physicians with patient exams, conducting procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with patient exams, treatments, and procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams by taking medical histories, performing vital signs, and documenting information in patient charts.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment and instruments for procedures.
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient care instructions.
- Collect and process lab specimens, ensuring proper documentation and handling.
- Manage and update patient records in compliance with medical regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Ensure inventory management of medical supplies and equipment.
- Provide support for various office administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited organization (AAMA, AMT, or equivalent).
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a dermatology, cosmetic, or related field.
