What are the responsibilities and job description for the Door Assembler position at North Atlantic Corp?
Job Summary
The main purpose of this position is to be the second man on the KVAL production line assembling the pre-hung doors as they come out of the machine.
General Responsibilities
· Assembles doors by applying the correct head and strike jamb.
· Applies ball catches
· Assembles double doors
Specific Responsibilities
· Able to measure and cut accurately.
· Able to follow directions, must be able to work as a team.
· Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
· Follows OSHA Regulations
· Maintain a Clean safe workspace.
· Maintain service logs on the various pieces of equipment to ensure that proper maintenance is performed on a timely bases.
· Report to management any equipment failures.
· Special Projects as assigned

Job Qualifications
· High School Diploma
· 1-2 years of experience
· Proficient in use and operation of the various pieces of equipment utilized within the Door Shop such as but not limited to K-Val, chop saw, staple guns screw guns and drills
· Valid Forklift Certification
· Strong Math Skills
