Summary :
Responsible for leading complex engineering projects across multiple phases of development. Designs, develops, fabricates, and evaluates advanced electrical systems and components with a focus on power electronics. Provides technical leadership, mentors junior engineers, and drives innovation in power supply design. Works independently and exercises significant engineering judgment in solving technical challenges.
Requirements
Lead the design and development of advanced power electronics and electrical systems.
Develop and optimize circuit designs for high-reliability applications.
Conduct detailed engineering evaluations, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
Address complex design challenges and provide expert-level troubleshooting support on production hardware.
Oversee and review schematic designs using advanced schematic capture tools.
Develop firmware and embedded software solutions for microcontrollers and digital control systems.
Design and implement automated test procedures for validation and verification.
Author technical documentation, including test reports, procedures, and specifications.
Lead EMI / EMC evaluations and implement design strategies for compliance.
Provide technical guidance on the design and development of magnetic components.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the engineering team.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support manufacturing, test engineering, and product management.
Qualifications and Requirements :
BSEE or equivalent four-year technical degree required; MSEE preferred.
5 years of experience in a power supply or related engineering environment.
Strong technical knowledge of power electronics and electrical engineering principles.
Expertise in power supply design, circuit analysis, and system integration.
Other Skills and Abilities :
Advanced proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools.
Deep understanding of power supply topologies and magnetics design.
Experience with embedded programming (C, C ) and control algorithms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to debugging and troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently and lead engineering projects.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
