Summary
Under the supervision of a Mechanical engineer, perform mechanical design contributing to new product development as well as design maintenance and troubleshooting of existing products. Perform tolerance study to determine worst case fit, and ensure that worst case conditions do not impede producibility and thermal or electrical performance.
This Internship is for Summer 2025. There may also be opportunities for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025.
Requirements
Full-time schedules for Summer internships. (40 hour week) Approx. Start Date End of May/Beg of June.
Internship salary is based on position and academic year standing.

Requirements
- Execute drawing updates, author and follow ECO instructions.
- Detail mechanical drawings.
- Participate in initial mechanical design concept and design improvements of existing products.
- Perform thermal analysis, and contribute to thermal design aspects.
- Estimate vibration performance as it pertains to high-rel military electronics.
- Operation vibration equipment and take surveys.
- Review outstanding ECO activity.
- Provide updated documentation in a timely manner.
- Working towards Mechanical Engineering degree, and currently enrolled to complete desired degree
- Advanced Math/Physics courses.
- Basic understanding of electronics and electronic components.
- Effectively communicate both written and verbally in the English language
- Experience with 3-D modeling software.
