What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Administrator position at North Atlantic Industries?
Summary:
Sales administration and customer service duties, including both internal and external customer support. Contributes to the training and mentoring of level 1 and 2 sales administrators, as needed.
Requirements
- Prompt response to external customer inquiries
- Support for regional sales managers, reps, and internal sales group as necessary
- Perform quoting and enter orders into ERP and CRM systems
- Review, process, and expedite sales orders and RMAs
- Basic review of purchase orders to ensure adherence to customer requirements, government specifications, and company policy
- Create packing slips for shipments, process invoices, and help resolve invoicing issues
- Compliance with export control process on applicable orders. Support for export control on level 1 and 2 admins’ applicable orders
- Provide friendly, professional, and timely service to effectively resolve customer concerns and issues
- Attend select meetings to keep management abreast of sales and customer service issues
- Contribute to the training and mentoring of level 1 and 2 sales administrators, as needed
- Additional sales administration and customer service duties as required. Responsibilities may grow with territory
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in a sales administration and/or customer service role required
- Salesforce experience required
- Experience working in engineering and/or manufacturing industry required
- Basic understanding of contractual documents require
Other Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or CRM experience a plus
- Ability to work dependably, unsupervised, in a remote capacity
- Ability to communicate professionally and clearly, both written and orally
- Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Patience and professionalism under pressure, with strong attention to detail
- Must be reliable, pleasant, and professional in appearance and manner
