Summary:
As a Systems Engineer, you play a pivotal role in developing and delivering high-performance solutions, drawing on your established technical expertise. You are responsible for defining requirements, designing systems, leading integrations, and ensuring successful implementation.
Requirements
- Conduct in-depth analysis to understand the broader system context. Develop system concepts and architectures.
- Translate customer needs into detailed system and subsystem requirements, leveraging your prior experience in requirements development.
- Plan, execute, and manage test procedures to ensure system designs function under real-world conditions.
- Lead integration efforts, ensuring hardware and software components work seamlessly together.
- Document designs, processes, and system specifications to maintain clear and organized development and implementation phases.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering teams and customers, addressing technical challenges and ensuring customer expectations are met.
- Identify and implement process improvements, contributing to the overall success of the engineering team through proactive problem-solving and best practices.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in requirements development, system architecture, and integration.
- Proven technical and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex engineering challenges independently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external customers.
- Deep understanding of product development lifecycle, inclusive of mechanical and software.
- Understanding of Defense design review cycle (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.)
