About the Role
This position is based in Fairfield, CA, and requires on-site work . There are no remote work opportunities available.
We are looking for an Avionic Bench Technician to join our team in Fairfield, CA ! In this role, you will test, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and military aircraft components, playing a critical part in maintaining the safety and performance of essential aviation systems.
What You’ll Do :
Diagnose, repair, and overhaul electronic components for aircraft systems.
Use industry-standard testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, and counters.
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, service bulletins, and wiring diagrams.
Identify and replace defective components, including integrated circuits, resistors, transistors, and capacitors.
What We’re Looking For :
Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum of 4 years of experience in avionics repair, troubleshooting, or maintenance.
Experience working in aircraft repair stations or military aviation maintenance environments.
Strong understanding of electronics principles and troubleshooting to the component level.
Proficiency with electronic test equipment and troubleshooting methods for circuit boards and electronic components.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documentation accurately.
Preferred Qualifications :
Aircraft system knowledge
Experience with aircraft instrumentation, autopilot, air data computers, and electrical power systems.
Background in avionics maintenance, including intermediate-level or specialized aircraft electronics repair.
Familiarity with LabVIEW software for automated testing.
