Job Description:
This position requires a qualified individual to oversee and manage the operations of an Early Childhood Education (ECE) program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, leadership, and administration, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide overall supervision and direction to center staff, including hiring, training, and evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements, including California Department of Education regulations and Industry "Best Practices".
- Plan and implement diverse, age-appropriate activities that meet the children's individual developmental needs.
- Manage waiting lists, conduct tours, and register children, as well as maintain required supervision of children at all times.
- Oversee administrative tasks, such as payroll, sick and vacation time for center staff, and perform additional tasks as delegated by the Area Director.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in ECE programs.
- Current CTC Site Supervisor permit or higher, or in the process of obtaining SS permit.
- Ability to work well with a diverse staff and excel in a multi-cultural environment.
- Proficient in written and spoken Spanish language skills desired, but not required.
Work Environment:
- Will work outdoors and indoors.
- Will use computers, tablets, cell phone (if provided), and other office equipment.
- Will work alone and with other peers and supervisors.
Compensation: $77,000 - $88,000 yearly salary.
