North Bay Regional Center (NBRC) provides advocacy, services, support, and care coordination to children and adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties.

NATURE OF WORK:
As a Client Services Assistant, you will provide administrative support and assistance to Case Management, Clinical, Early Intervention, Resource Development, Federal Revenue, Information Technology (IT), Emergency Management and Facilities Department, SDP, Quality Assurance staff and agency departments, as needed.
If assigned to Clinical, under the direction of the Director of Intake and Clinical Services: will provide support for the day-to-day operations of the NBRC Clinical Department, to include support and assistance related to clinical tasks, takes meeting notes; establishes and maintains tracking systems; completes forms and documentation; requests information and responds to requests for information; schedules appointments and meetings; word processes documents; enters data into computers; assists with COVID-related tasks; assists clients, families and service providers by email, telephone, or in person and provides back-up to Intake CSA positions.
EXAMPLES OF WORK:
As directed by their supervisor: schedules, attends, tracks and completes related clerical tasks for multiple clinical meetings; tracks dental and behavioral purchases and communicates purchase requests with NBRC staff; requests and tracks client medical records; uploads documentation into the client file; obtains signatures on forms as needed; assists with formatting flyers or educational material for NBRC staff and vendors; creates or updates clinical forms; assists with processing agency procedures. May be assigned to support other staff members/supervisors and assist with phone and receptionist backup duties. Will be expected to complete a variety of typing/data input, provide scheduling assistance, and complete filing, copying, FAX and mail duties.
Requirements:
Minimum Education/Experience
Equivalent or graduation from high school
Three years of administrative/clerical experience in a work environment
OR
Graduation from business school or other two-year post high school program and two years of administrative experience. Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel) and have the ability to type 50 WPM.
Knowledge of:
- Office management practices and procedures, including filing and the operation of standard office equipment.
- Proper form for typed materials.
- Business arithmetic including percentages and decimals.
- Correct English usage including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Basic business data processing principles and the use of word processing or personal computing equipment using Microsoft Word.
- Basic record-keeping principles and practices.
- Must type at a minimum rate of 50 net words per minute from handwritten or printed copy.
Special Requirements
- Fluency in a language in addition to English is desirable and may be required.
- Ability to provide personal automobile transportation, or access to another form of reliable transportation, during and after working hours.
- If operating own vehicle, provide minimum automobile liability insurance as required by California Law.
- Flexibility in work hours is required to meet the needs of the regional center constituency.
- This position will be primarily based in the office; however, a hybrid work schedule may also be available.

Salary
$47,268 – $52,104 with opportunities for 5% increases annually
