Who We Serve

North Bay Regional Center provides advocacy, services, support, and care coordination to children and adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties.

North Bay Regional Center serves over 10,000 people living within the geographic boundaries of Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties. We have Case Manager / Early Intervention Service Coordinator positions available serving children 0 - 3 years old.

NATURE OF WORK :

Provides intake and ongoing assessments of infants and toddlers eligible for Early Intervention Services under California Early Start program mandates. Assists eligible children and their families with the coordination of other resources, in development of an Individualized Family Service Plan and participates in periodic reviews of the IFSP every six months or more frequently if conditions warrant and takes an active role in transition services for toddlers. Provides service coordination to assist the families in accessing services necessary to enhance the development of the child and the capacity of the family to meet the needs of the child. May participate in educational and prevention out-reach activities and serve as liaison to other community organizations that work with populations at high risk for having a developmental disability.

Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

Must have a master's degree in social work or a related field from an accredited university; be a credentialed Speech Pathologist or Nurse with a PHN or PNP certification and three years of experience in working with children in early intervention agencies and resources.

A bachelor's degree and two years' experience in a professional position at NBRC or another California Regional Center with child case carrying responsibility can be substituted for the above. Minimum education requirement may not be waived.

Minimum qualifications may be waived depending on the agency's need for specialized skills (such as language abilities).

Knowledge of early childhood development.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS :

Ability to provide transportation, or access to another form of reliable transportation, during and after working hours.

Flexibility in work hours is required to meet the needs of the regional center constituency. This position will be primarily based in the office; however, a hybrid remote work schedule may also be available. Bilingual Spanish / English speaking desirable.

Bi-lingual language differential :

  • For those speaking, reading and writing other than English - $200 per month

  • Salary Range :

    68,952 - $76,020 with opportunities for 5% increases annually.
