What are the responsibilities and job description for the North Beach-Athletic Ticket Taker position at North Beach School District?
The primary role of this position is to ensure that only patrons with valid tickets enter an event. This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and certain duties may be omitted or assigned as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selling and collecting tickets, passes, memberships at athletic events
- Verifying the authenticity of tickets and passes
- Assisting patrons in finding seats, locating restrooms, and accommodating special needs
- Cleaning facilities and disposing of debris
- Counting and recording ticket collections
- Refusing entry to individuals without valid tickets or passes, or those restricted from entering the facility
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR/First Aid certification may be required
- Criminal background clearance
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Capacity to climb stairs and assist individuals with mobility issues
This position reports to the Athletic Director and collaborates with Middle/High School administrators within the North Beach School District.
