About the Position
The North Beach School District is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fill the position of Early Childhood Program Facilitator. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the Early Steps to School Success (ESSS) program, which aims to support kindergarten readiness for children ages 0-5 years throughout the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and engage pregnant families and children in the ESSS program
- Plan and schedule regular program activities, including home visiting, parent-child groups, and transition-to-school activities
- Provide regular home visits using a Save the Children approved home visiting curriculum
- Organize and conduct regular parent-child groups
- Conduct child developmental screening and family assessments
Requirements
- Highly motivated and flexible individual with a strong ability to work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development and family engagement
- Home Visiting experience and working with pregnant women and children ages birth to five
- Ability to collect data, participate in program evaluation activities, and comply with child safeguarding and data protection requirements
