PreK-5 Principal

North Bend Central Public Schools, located in North Bend, NE, is seeking a PreK-5 Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. North Bend Central is an AQuESTT classified Excellent school district, located just 45 minutes from Omaha and Lincoln. We have a PreK-12 enrollment of 600 students, and are considered a Class C1/C2 school by the NSAA. Our compensation and benefits are highly competitive. NBC has outstanding facilities and excellent community and school board support. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Creating a school culture that promotes the ongoing improvement of learning and teaching for students and staff
• Providing for school safety
• Working with the Superintendent in the development, implementation and evaluation of a data-driven plan for maintaining excellent student achievement, including the use of multiple student data elements
• Assisting instructional staff with alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessment with state and local district learning goals
• Monitoring, assisting, and evaluating effective instruction and assessment practices
• Managing both staff and fiscal resources to support student achievement and legal responsibilities
• Partnering with the school community to promote student learning
• Leadership and governance, with respect to staff and student handbooks, and board policy
• Staying abreast of educational updates at the local, state, and federal levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
