Monday- Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (Hours may vary)
40 hours a week full-time

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for answering phone, processing referrals, prior authorizations, prescription refills, ordering labs, x-rays and other ancillary tests, patient follow-up and processing of appropriate patient paperwork in a fast-paced office.
PRINCIPLE JOB DUTIES:
- Handle patient notifications.
- Answer phones.
- Process patient referrals, prior authorizations
- Order labs, x-rays and ancillary tests.
- Process prescription refill requests.
- Process incoming faxes.
- Provide support to team members in providing excellent patient care.
- Proper processing of patient paperwork/charts in the Electronic Health Records.
- Ability to perform back-office job duties when needed.
- Demonstrate safe work practices.
- Adhere to clinic safety guidelines.
- Perform other tasks, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Previous medical experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal, analytical and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively amid frequent interruptions, to prioritize workload, to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to employ discretion and confidentiality in all areas.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
