Seeking a Full Time Director of Rehabilitation to join the team at North Bend Post-Acute! Considering the following specialties: PT, OT, and ST. Great culture in our facility and we are bringing our therapy in-house so you'll get to form your own team!
The city of North Bend is often looked at as rural but it's only 35 minutes to down town Seattle and 15-25 minutes to Issaquah, Bellevue and Renton. Clean air & water, outstanding schools, in the mountains but close to the city and a low crime rate make the City of North Bend one of the most desirable places in the country to live.
Opportunity for a Director of Rehabilitation in an in-house therapy setting.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, orient and mentor all therapy staff
- Review all relevant data and utilize clinical judgement to ensure appropriate delivery of therapy care to maximize outcomes and meet desired goals at discharge
- Plan accordingly to schedule staff based on clinical needs and coordinate treatment activity of staff members
- Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and understands the role of rehabilitation for all therapy disciplines
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness and organization of all departmental paperwork, including conducting documentation audits
- Prompt preparation and delivery of any reports
- Projects a positive and professional image at all times
- Reports to work on time and coordinates schedule to achieve maximum efficiency
- Establish and promote clinical programs/enhancement as indicated
- Adheres to established confidentiality standards
- Engage in recruiting interviews, employee development, goal setting, constructive feedback, corrective actions, performance appraisals
- Work pro-actively to manage and build PRN pool, contact and schedule as needed
- Participate in facility and company meetings
- Ability to analyzes interpret and achieve budget expectations on a consistent basis
- Assure staff all understand and are compliant with the Federal, State and Local laws, rules and regulations related to therapy service delivery
- Provide a safe environment to utilize tools and equipment in a safe manner complying with all infection control, universal precautions and standards for the healthcare professional
- Develop professional working relationships with staff, facility team members, residents, and resident family members

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $70.00 per hour
