Position:
Birthday Party Host/HostessReports to: Birthday Coordinator
Qualifications: NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Great first job for students. Earn $20-$25 per hour between salary and tips. Must have friendly personality and love to work with kids.

Objectives: Provide outstanding service and hospitality to teen and children’s birthday parties.

Duties:

• Check with Birthday Coordinator & GM for party times and lane assignments
• Arrive ½ hour prior to party and verify party lanes and party room are set up and ready with appropriate materials
• Greet party participants as they arrive and explain how the part flow works to avoid misunderstandings.
• Coordinate with customer any special needs or request for the party and accommodate to the fullest ability. Be an active part of the party. It is your job to make sure the Party Mom or Dad can relax and enjoy the party, while you make sure the kids have a great time
• Help in bowling ball selection and in entering names into automatic scoring
• Verify with Coordinator that the required food and beverage products have been ordered
• Maintain constant walkie talkie communication with Coordinator. She is there to help you provide great service
• STAY WITH YOUR PARTY AT ALL TIMES. Interact with kids during bowling , congratulating them on their bowling scores.
• Play wacky bowling games with games during bowling and hand out prizes to everyone for something they did well
• Deliver pizza and soft drinks to the guests.
• Complete pizza service and cleanup within 20 minutes of finishing bowling. Now serve cake and lead the Happy Birthday song.
• If the Party Mom (or Dad) wishes to open presents, assist with tracking who gave which gift, give her a large gift sack to carry out presents.
• When you deliver the check for your party, remember to Thank the Party Mom and tell her you really enjoyed being a part of her child’s birthday celebration
• Give ten minutes notice to the Party Mom when the time in the party room is close to the end so they can wrap up. Hand out arcade cards if included in package at this point
• Clean up area after party and set up for the next party. Thank customers
• Always keep focus on the birthday person and make them feel important. Wish the child Happy Birthday as they as they are leaving
