Client Services Associate – Independent Investment & Wealth Management Firm
My client, a prestigious independent investment and wealth management firm, is seeking a Client Services Associate to join their growing team. This role involves working alongside associates and analysts to provide critical support to multiple Advisors in delivering top-tier client service.
💰 Compensation: $85,000 - $92,000 (based on experience) up to 20% bonus
📍 Schedule: Hybrid (Chicago-based)
📜 Preferred Experience: 3 years in a wealth management firm; CFP is a plus but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare client meeting materials and ensure all documentation is up-to-date
- Attend client meetings, take detailed notes, and draft follow-up correspondence
- Track and execute client action items, coordinating directly with clients to ensure seamless processing of investment documents
- Oversee quarterly client reports and participate in calls to discuss financial updates
- Support the development and execution of tailored asset allocation and wealth transfer strategies
- Collaborate with clients' external advisors, such as tax professionals and estate attorneys, to implement financial planning solutions
- Assist with creating presentations for new business development opportunities
- Contribute to internal initiatives that enhance efficiency and client service
Who You Are:
✔️ Highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach to client service
✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
✔️ Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
✔️ Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
✔️ Familiar with investment concepts and asset classes, including alternative investments
✔️ Experienced in financial planning, tax, investment, or family office work with high-net-worth clients (minimum 3 years)
✔️ A CPA, CFP, or MBA is a plus but not required
